Guide

Bankroll planner: a disciplined session plan

The bankroll planner converts your bankroll, pace of play and RTP into a clear pre-session plan. It helps you decide whether a planned session is too big for your bankroll and set a realistic loss limit before you start chasing volume.

How the planner calculates

Formulas

Recommended loss limit = bankroll × loss limit %

Planned turnover = average bet × rounds per hour × hours

Theoretical session loss = planned turnover × (100% − RTP)

Example: a moderate two-hour slot session

Bankroll €300, loss limit 30%, average bet €1, pace 500 rounds per hour, 2 hours, 96% RTP.

  • Bankroll€300
  • Loss limit30%, i.e. €90
  • Planned turnover€1 × 500 × 2 = €1,000
  • Theoretical loss€1,000 × 4% = €40

Since the theoretical loss (€40) is below the loss limit (€90), the plan is reasonable for the bankroll.

Why bankroll planning protects you

A clear plan prevents impulsive decisions and chasing losses. If a planned session exceeds your loss limit, it’s worth lowering the bet or play time.

Tips

Frequently asked questions

How large should the bankroll loss limit be?
It’s a personal decision, but many players set a limit of 20–30% of the session bankroll. The key is to choose an amount whose loss won’t affect your everyday life.
How does the bankroll planner help you play responsibly?
It shows before a session whether your planned bet and pace fit within your loss limit, helping avoid chasing losses and impulsive decisions.
What to do if the planned session exceeds the loss limit?
Lower the average bet, shorten the play time or choose a higher-RTP game until the theoretical loss fits within your set limit.
